Write to the Troops
The men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) have demonstrated time and again that they will rise to any challenge. Let your Canadian Armed Forces members know you appreciate their service by sending a message using this monitored message board.
Dear Soldier, I am a student from Saskatchewan. I would like to thank you for your resilience and willpower. Your strength amazes me every single day without fail. Thank you so much for serving our country for so many years. It’s an act of true bravery, courage, and risk. Not everyone can do all that you have done for Canada. I know that the scars of war - inside and out - are impossible to be rid of, but your strength has touched millions. Your resilience and willpower are indescribable.
At school, we studied about many wars and fights that Canada has served in, whether it be on the battlefield or as peacekeepers. I have been left in awe at our military’s bravery. My appreciation grows every single day for all those selfless souls who serve our country. In class, when we discuss about the military, I am ever so thrilled by your determination to fight for our people. It truly does mean a lot, and I cannot put into words how touched I, and many others, have been by your commitment. I am ever so grateful for your willingness to fight for our rights and freedom. Canada will continue to cherish you for centuries to come.
Sincerely, a grade 8 Student, Watrous, Saskatchewan, Canada
