Industries Mélymax Inc.

Repayable contribution of $171,500 out of a total investment of $365,000

Created in 1997, Mélymax is a manufacturing company that specializes in the design, production and marketing of high-end custom-made steel doors for the residential market. Its products are designed using materials with high quality standards, which sets the company apart in a market with very significant barriers to entry.

Through the project, the company aims to enhance its productivity and increase its production capacity. Specifically, the project involves the acquisition of digital equipment, including a digitally-controlled cutter, which will allow certain operations to be automated; and the upgrading of its ERP system to ensure machine connectivity and thus the evolution towards Industry 4.0.

Délices d’Antan Inc.

Repayable contribution of $162,500 out of a total investment of $955,000

Founded in 2003, Délices d'Antan is a family business that makes local bakery products, including potato doughnuts, a unique preservative-free product that does not contain eggs, making it a good alternative for people with allergies.

The objective of the project is to enhance the company’s productivity and increase its production capacity. The project involves the acquisition of a new plant and state-of-the-art equipment. The larger surface area will allow for the addition of an automated production line, which will have a tangible impact on the production chain and will also reduce the risks for workers.
