Nearly $813,000 provided for the development of two businesses and one organization in La Tuque

The Government of Canada supports projects by Pro-Mec Elite, Microbrasserie La Pécheresse and Club Moto-Neige La Tuque

June 7, 2019 – La Tuque, QuebecCanada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Pro-Mec Elite, Microbrasserie La Pécheresse and Club Moto-Neige La Tuque will be able to complete their projects with the help of a total of $812,888 in repayable and non-repayable contributions from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions.

With this financial assistance, Pro-Mec Elite Inc. will be able to support its growth by acquiring state‑of‑the‑art equipment. Microbrasserie La Pécheresse will be able to meet its operational requirements effectively by purchasing and installing more efficient equipment. Club Moto-Neige La Tuque Inc. will be able to acquire new snow-grooming equipment for mechanical trail maintenance.

The funding was announced today by the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Member of Parliament for Saint-Maurice–Champlain and Minister of Infrastructure and Communities. The Government of Canada’s assistance will help the recipient businesses and organization achieve their set objectives. Their respective projects will generate total investments of nearly $2.5M and create ten jobs, in addition to diversifying economic activity in La Tuque.
