Adaptiv Networks wants to break into new markets to accelerate growth

News release

Gatineau, Quebec, March 4, 2020 Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Adaptiv Networks specializes in the development and marketing of next-generation business connectivity solutions. It provides simple, economical and effective solutions for cloud connectivity to eliminate the pitfalls businesses experience in their digital transformation. The SME wants to accelerate its growth and enhance its performance and sales in North America. To achieve this, Adaptiv Networks has received a repayable contribution of $400,000 from CED to develop its specialized software (SD-WAN) and conduct commercialization and marketing activities.

New jobs for a qualified workforce

To take advantage of the qualified labour pool in the Outaouais region, the SME chose to open its head office in Gatineau. With the market of private business networks in full migration to the new technologies offered by SD-WAN, the SME needs these talented employees to support its growth.

This funding was announced today by Steven MacKinnon, Member of Parliament for Gatineau and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement, on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages. With the Government of Canada’s assistance, the business will be able to accelerate its growth and boost its performance and sales in Canada and the U.S. by focusing its efforts on commercial development. The support has also enabled the business to create eight jobs.

The Government of Canada’s mission is to accompany Quebec’s SMEs and regions into tomorrow’s economy. By helping Adaptiv Networks to position itself outside Quebec and in the U.S., CED is fostering the growth of a Quebec business and job creation in Gatineau.
