The project involves implementing Tourisme Chaudière-Appalaches’s four‑year plan for marketing outside Quebec. It also targets the development of tourism products that will attract Canadian and international clients. The project is the continuation of efforts by the organization and its members in recent years to make the region more attractive to tourists.

CED’s contribution will cover the cost of this regional tourism association’s activities related to the marketing and development of tourism products, including the development and updating of the website; the design and printing of promotional material; media placement, specifically on the Web and in social media; and the development of a toolbox to allow businesses to tailor their products to foreign clients.

Office de tourisme de la MRC des Appalaches

Thetford Mines

CED’s contribution will cover all of the activities of the project, which involves developing the tourism products provided by the Office de tourisme de la MRC des Appalaches. The project also aims to develop a tourism destination that relies on environmentally responsible practices to allow the community of Thetford Mines to take advantage of post-pandemic market opportunities.

The main activity will be the construction of the new lookout in the Mitchell neighbourhood in the centre of Thetford. It will be accessible by people with limited mobility.

Plein Ciel Guides inc.

Saint-Antoine-de-l’Isle-aux-Grues

CED’s contribution will cover all of the activities of the project, which aims to enhance the tourism product provided by Plein Ciel Guides.

The main activities are: the construction of a reception and service shelter; the upgrading and construction of carriages; the acquisition of hunting equipment and an ATV; and the acquisition of a mowing tool.

CED’s contribution will cover all of the activities of the project, which involves the startup of a new recreational tourism complex in the Bellechasse RCM.

The main activities are: a feasibility study to assess the state of the buildings; a seismic study in order to know the resistance to loads and validate the concept; and preliminary plans and specifications.

CED’s contribution will cover all of the activities of the project, the goal of which is to modernize the tourism product offered by Camping Le Rescapé (Les entreprises G.Y.M.).
