Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act
To enforce Canada’s international commitment to contribute to fight against child labour and forced labour, Senate Public Bill S-211, an Act to enact the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act and to amend the Customs Tariff (the Supply Chains Act) came into force on January 01, 2024. To uphold the reporting obligation within the Act, Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) publishes this report annually.
