Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities and Member of Parliament for Halifax, Andy Fillmore, will announce how the Government of Canada is supporting youth and students in their studies and helping them find and keep good-quality jobs through the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement is being made on behalf of the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion.
A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the announcement.

Instructions:
- Arrive between 20 and 30 minutes prior to the announcement.
- Anyone attending the event must not present any symptoms associated with COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has received a positive diagnosis within the last 14 days.
- Attendees will be asked to confirm that they have completed a health screening self-assessment, which will be sent in advance to those registered.
