About Défi sportif AlterGo

Presented annually, the Défi sportif AlterGo is the largest annual multisport event in Canada. International in scope, it is the only one to bring together elite and emerging athletes of all functional limitations since 1984. Much more than an event, the Défi sportif AlterGo aims to promote the practice of physical activities and adapted sport throughout Quebec throughout the year, to promote an active lifestyle and to be an important vector of awareness and social inclusion for young people with disabilities by connecting with different networks: elected officials, partners and the general public.

Operating through 3 distinct entities, AlterGo Association, AlterGo Expertise and AlterGo Événements, AlterGo is a unifying organization and driver of social innovation concerned with universal accessibility and the inclusion of people with functional limitations.

About the logo

Its almost round shape and its colors invoke movement, action, vitality. Combining various colours harmonized with each other, the Défi sportif AlterGo logo expresses diversity and presents a wide spectrum of possibilities. Made up of different pieces, but which come together, it also emphasizes gathering and humanity.
