Listen to Dis' Community Arts: Celebration of Canadian artists with disabilities

Listen to Dis' Community Arts is Saskatchewan's first and only disability-led arts organization. We are seen as ambassadors of disability culture in the "fly over province" which is how Saskatchewan is viewed in the Crip art world.
Through intimately accessible art practices and performance, we weave new realities for our disabled and non-disabled community - shifting the way people perceive disability and creating understanding of and appreciation for Crip art, Mad art, and Disability Culture.
With the support of accessible cross-ability somatic practices, we encourage each other to nurture a healthier relationship to body, mind, and creative spirit, while collaborating interdependently in the development of art and the cultivation of artists.
Recognizing the intersectionality of the lived disability experience, Listen to Dis' embraces diversity in its membership and creates barrier-free programming, welcoming all levels of involvement from artists and creative community members across all ethnicities, ages, genders, sexualities, and levels of experience and ability.
