Varda Étienne:  Master of ceremonies

Varda Étienne is a committed host, writer and speaker, a public figure who is deeply involved in the cause of mental health and violence against women. Since her early days as host at MusiquePlus, she has been a columnist and host for various television and radio productions. May 2022 was marked by her return to television hosting with the release of her documentary series Ces enfants invisibles on Tout.TV. Varda has been hosting Et si c'était toi? since January 2023 on AMI-TV, a series featuring single people living with a disability. Another documentary series, T'es belle pour une noire, has been broadcast on Tout.TV since April 2023. In the spring of 2024, Varda will return as a columnist for a 22nd season on TVA's show Sucré Salé. Since the fall of 2022, Varda has been participating as a Fantastique on the return home show Véronique et les fantastiques on Rouge FM, and since February 2024, she has been hosting a new podcast series on OHdio, Je demande pour un ami. In 2009, she published her first book, Maudite folle, which sold more than 20,000 copies, and since then we have seen the release of three novels, as well as the reissue of Maudite folle in the summer of 2021.
