Social Development Partnerships Program – Disability Component – Organizational Capacity Development Stream 1
This funding opportunity aims to build and support strategic capacity development of disability organizations. It will fund projects that are disability community-led, composed of project-based activities that enhance organizational capacity and impact the extent to which organizations can participate in advancing the disability policy agenda across jurisdictions.
- Application period:
- November 9, 2023 to December 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST) Closed
- Funding amount:
- Up to $500,000 for a project that is up to 24 months in duration
- Who can apply:
- Not-for-profit organizations, with a primary mandate that promotes the social inclusion of persons with disabilities across Canada and is governed by a majority of persons with disabilities and/or lived experience

We will hold information sessions virtually for those who are interested in applying for funding. Please email us at NC-ODI-BCPH-SDPPD-PPDSPH-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca and let us know your name and language and date you prefer based on the dates below.
The sessions will be fully accessible and include American Sign Language (ASL), Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ), and Communications Access Realtime Translation (CART).
The dates for the sessions are as follows:
- November 20, 2023, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (EST) in English
- November 23, 2023, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (EST) in French
