North American Environment Leaders to hold Press Conference in Vienna

Ottawa, Ontario – July 20, 2016 – Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator, Gina McCarthy, and Mexico Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, Rafael Pacchiano Alamán, will host a press conference during the Third Extraordinary Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (Ex-MOP3) in Vienna, Austria.

The three North American representatives will reaffirm their support for an amendment to the Montreal Protocol to phase down use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in air conditioning and refrigeration.
