Minister McKenna to focus on clean growth in Calgary, on March 9

Calgary, Alberta – March 8, 2017 – Media are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will highlight the Government of Canada’s action to foster clean growth, at a keynote address hosted by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, March 9.  

Minister McKenna and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology will also host an exhibition to highlight Alberta’s clean-technology sector. Companies in the clean-technology and energy sectors will showcase their innovative initiatives to students and will hold a panel discussion with Minister McKenna and industry executives.
