COP23 event: Indigenous Leadership on Climate Action in Canada

Bonn, Germany – November 14, 2017 – Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will participate in a panel discussion about the Indigenous leadership on climate action in Canada. The event highlights Canada’s efforts to recognize Indigenous rights in addressing climate change, including through the Local Communities and Indigenous Peoples’ Platform at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Only accredited media will be able to attend.
