Minister McKenna hosts women from around the world for Climate Leaders’ Summit

Ottawa, Ontario – May 15, 2018 –The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, is hosting the Climate Leaders’ Summit: Women Kicking It on Climate. Women climate leaders from G7 countries and the international community will attend the Summit to develop solutions to climate change, which will contribute to women’s empowerment, gender equality, and advancing the Paris Agreement.
Media representatives are advised that two plenary sessions are open to registered reporters; a press conference with a questions-and-answers period will follow.
