Minister Jonathan Wilkinson to participate in the U.S.-led Leaders Summit on Climate and hold media availability

Ottawa, Ontario – April 21, 2021 – Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, will participate in the Leaders Summit on Climate hosted by the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, on April 22, 2021. The Summit will convene heads of state and government, and business and civil society leaders to discuss the urgent need for stronger climate action.
Minister Wilkinson will hold a virtual press conference at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) and will be joined by the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the Honourable Steven Guilbeault. Following the media availability, Minister Wilkinson will participate in the Summit’s ministerial panel on “Nature-Based Solutions.”
