Minister Wilkinson to participate in fireside chat at the Making Nature Investable virtual summit

Ottawa, Ontario – May 10, 2021 – Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, will participate in a fireside chat with the President and CEO of Nature Conservancy of Canada, Catherine Grenier, at the Making Nature Investable virtual summit.

The summit will explore how to facilitate and finance nature-based solutions to combat climate change and biodiversity loss. It will include sessions on nature-based climate solutions and creating investable, nature-positive outcomes, along with a second fireside chat with the United Nations Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance and Vice-Chair, Brookfield Asset Management, Mark Carney, later in the day.
