Minister Guilbeault to make an announcement toward protecting and restoring the habitat of species at risk in the Greater Montréal area

Laval, Quebec – June 8, 2023 Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will make an announcement toward protecting and restoring habitat for species at risk in the Greater Montréal area.

Minister Guilbeault will be joined by Yves Robillard, Member of Parliament for Marc-Aurèle-Fortin; Stéphane Boyer, Mayor of Laval; Eric Westram, Mayor of Rosemère and Prefect of the Municipalité regionale de comté de Thérèse-De Blainville; and Christine Métayer, Executive Director of Éco-Nature.

Following the announcement, Minister Guilbeault will hold a media availability.
