Minister Guilbeault to make an announcement on Indigenous-led nature conservation initiatives

Gatineau, Quebec – September 28, 2023 Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will make an announcement on Indigenous-led nature conservation initiatives.

He will be joined by Sophie Chatel, Member of Parliament for Pontiac, Douglas Odjick, Council member for Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, and Shaunna Morgan Siegers, Interim Executive Director, First Nations National Guardians Network.

Following the announcement, Minister Guilbeault will hold a media availability.
