Ministers Guilbeault and St-Onge to make an announcement in support of the protection and recovery of species at risk and their habitats in southern Quebec and across Canada

Gatineau, Quebec – September 1, 2023 – Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, and the Honourable Pascale St-Onge, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will make an announcement on protecting and recovering species at risk and their habitats in southern Quebec and across Canada.
They will be joined by Élisabeth Brière, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions; Nathalie Lemaire, Mayor of Eastman; and Mélanie Lelièvre, Executive Director of Appalachian Corridor.
Following the announcement, Minister Guilbeault and Minister St-Onge will hold a media availability.
