The Government of Canada to announce an investment to protect the waters of Lake Winnipeg

Winnipeg, Manitoba – July 29, 2024 – Media representatives are advised that Terry Duguid, Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South and Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and Special Advisor for Water, will make an announcement for the Lake Winnipeg Basin Program as part of Canada’s commitment to protecting fresh water.
