The Government of Canada to make a funding announcement to increase conserved areas in southern Ontario

East Gwillimbury, Ontario – August 6, 2024 Media representatives and others are advised that Julie Dabrusin, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, will make a funding announcement to increase conserved areas in southern Ontario. She will be joined by Virginia Hackson, Mayor, Town of East Gwillimbury; Rick Wilson, Manager of Data and Analytics, Conservation Ontario; Quentin Hanchard, Chief Administrative Officer, Credit Valley Conservation Authority; and Tony Van Bynen, Member of Parliament for Newmarket–Aurora. Following the announcement, the Parliamentary Secretary, Julie Dabrusin, will hold a media availability.
