Government of Canada to make a funding announcement supporting species at risk across Canada

Prince Edward, Ontario – September 5, 2024 – Media representatives are advised that Adam van Koeverden, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will make a funding announcement on behalf of the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, through the Habitat Stewardship Program for Species at Risk to support conservation projects across Canada.  

Following the media availability, media representatives are invited to join a discovery boat tour to Main Duck Island with biologists.
