Login to CABIN database

The CABIN database provides partners with tools to store and manage their data and studies. All data that are collected as part of CABIN can be entered through the web-based interface. Once data are entered, partners can analyse their data and perform assessments using the suite of online tools that are built into the CABIN database. These tools include test site assessment using the Reference Condition Approach (where reference models are available) and a variety of metrics calculations (for example measures of richness, abundance, and percentages of taxa groups). Summary and reporting tools are available to create customized outputs of raw data and site assessment results.

The database is accessible with a username and password. People gain access to the database by becoming part of the network. The intention of the network is to share data that are collected in a nationally consistent way. There are required training modules to provide background behind CABIN and standard CABIN sampling methods to understand how the data was collected and then additional modules if you wish to enter, analyze or report on data in CABIN using the CABIN tools.

To get a username and password, training is required. See the training page for more information.

Metadata are available on the map page and do not require a username or password.
