Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 129(3) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA), the conditions of disposal at sea permit no. 4543‑2‑06995 are varied and approved as follows. The varied conditions are published on the Canadian Environmental Protection Act Registry on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
9. Total quantity to be disposed of:
- Blacklands Gully: not to exceed 30 000 cubic metres, place measure
14. Special precautions:
14.1. The loading and disposal at sea referred to under this permit shall be carried out in accordance with all restrictions and mitigation measures outlined in the document titled “NB Disposal Site Management Plan: 2019 Map Book and Mitigation” (July 30, 2019). Modifications to the document shall be made only with the written approval of the Department of the Environment
