8. Calculations
- 8.1 For a 2.5 mL stalagmometer, use the following equation:
- 8.2 For a 5 mL stalagmometer, use a constant of 2880 instead of 1440:
- 8.3 Use the table in Appendix A for looking up the surface tension value for density (in mL or Baume) and the number of drops.
