Comment received

Government responses to earlier comments on the Notices of Intent were very general and did not address the fundamental issues.

Response

The Government of Canada carefully considered all comments received on the Notices of Intent. Official responses were prepared by a team of professionals, including representatives from the legal, scientific and economic fields. The Government is confident that the published responses did address the fundamental issues that were raised during the 60-day public comment period. In addition, they represent the Government of Canada's position on these issues.
