Report a pollution incident

To report a spill, a pollution incident, or an environmental emergency, please call the appropriate provincial or territorial environmental emergency contact. These authorities will inform Environment and Climate Change Canada.

Report a wildlife crime

Members of the public who suspect a wildlife violation has been committed can contact the Public Inquiries Centre via email at enviroinfo@ec.gc.ca.

Individuals can also submit anonymous tips on wildlife violation (such as poaching, smuggling, trafficking, illegal cross-border transportation, illegal migratory bird hunting activities, etc.) by calling the Canadian Crime Stoppers Association at 1-800-222-8477 or 1-800-711-1800 if you are in Quebec.
