RADARSAT-2 satellite image taken on January 5, 2014, of the Beaufort Sea. The image highlights multi-year ice, thin first-year ice and thin ice leads in the sea. Fast ice is found along the Alaskan coast and Yukon North Slope, while new ice is found off the coast.
