Conserve Ontario's Carolinian Forests: preserve songbird species at risk, chapter 11

Thanks to the landowners

Many landowners throughout Ontario’s Carolinian Zone protect significant woodland habitat. Without their past and continuing stewardship, the region would experience greater depletion of species such as Acadian Flycatcher, Cerulean Warbler, Hooded Warbler, Louisiana Waterthrush and Prothonotary Warbler that are dependent on mature woodland habitat. Numerous landowners also allow access to their lands for wildlife and woodland research. Their generous co-operation and contributions to conservation are deeply appreciated.
