Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) establishes Migratory Birds Sanctuaries (MBS) under the authority of the Migratory Birds Convention Act, 1994, and provide a refuge for migratory birds in marine and terrestrial habitats. We have compiled a list of ECCC publications to give you easy access to in depth information of what truly goes into protecting MBSs and why they are so important.
