Public consultations on migratory bird permits
The Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment and Climate Change Canada manages migratory bird hunting in Canada. To hunt any listed migratory birds, you must have a Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit with an affixed Conservation Stamp.
We are proposing an increase in the price of the Conservation Stamp and Permit. This will help support greater habitat conservation efforts and cost recovery for the program.
All comments received on this proposal to increase service fees are being reviewed and will be considered in determining future service fees increases for the Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit and Conservation Stamp.
