Carrying capacity

The maximum theoretical population that an area will support without deterioration.

Fecundity

The potential reproductive capacity of an organism or population, measured by the number of gametes (eggs), seed set or asexual propagules.

Kit

The young of a ferret.

Morbidity

The rate of incidence or prevalence of a disease.

Vector

An organism, such as a mosquito or tick that carries disease-causing microorganisms from one host to another.
