Lake Winnipeg satellite image (May 20, 2019)

Sentinel 3 - OLCI image acquired on May 20, 2019 over Lake Winnipeg. The image highlights spring lake ice and open water conditions on Lake Winnipeg.  Black water results from strong light absorption by high concentrations of dissolved organic carbon.
