Government of Canada Invests $65,000 to Upgrade and Revitalize the Wahnapitae Community Centre

The Government of Canada is investing $65,000 to support key infrastructure enhancements to the Wahnapitae Community Centre and upgrades to its outdoor recreational facilities. This investment will help modernize this community asset and transform the Centre into a more energy efficient facility, which will lead to increased usage by local residents and visitors alike.
Marc Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor, today announced this Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program funding. Specifically, the investment will be used to upgrade insulation and replace eaves troughs, fascia, soffit and windows, as well as support upgrades to the playground and basketball court adjacent to the community centre
