FCAC to announce Canada’s results for OECD global youth financial literacy assessment

Members of the media are advised that the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC), in collaboration with the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), will release the Canadian results of a global survey that assessed youth financial literacy. The results feed into a global report to be published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD). 

The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), is a triennial worldwide survey measuring competencies among 15-year-olds. This marks the first time Canada has participated in PISA’s financial literacy assessment since it was introduced in 2012.

The announcement will coincide with the OECD’s release of the full global PISA report in Paris, France.
