Canada and China have signed a protocol to expand market access for Canadian beef exports to China to include bone-in beef.

Since June 2011, Canada has had access to China for frozen, boneless beef from animals less than 30 months of age. Under the protocol, Canadian beef exporters will have expanded access for frozen, bone-in beef from animals less than 30 months of age.
