Minister Bibeau will travel to Washington, D.C., for Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group

The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, will be in Washington, D.C., from April 20 to 21, 2017, accompanied by Parliamentary Secretary Celina Caesar-Chavannes, to participate in the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group.

As part of this visit, the Minister will reaffirm Canada’s commitment to health and education, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected zones. She will also underline the importance of supporting inclusive and green economic growth, and the tremendous impact of investing in women and youth.
