Parliamentary Secretary to Minister of Foreign Affairs to attend National Conference of State Legislatures summit in Boston

Canada and the United States have built the most peaceful and mutually beneficial partnership in the world—one that supports millions of middle class jobs in both countries.

Matt DeCourcey, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced that he will attend the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Legislative Summit on August 5 and 6, 2017, in Boston, Massachusetts, to promote the strong economic relationship between Canada and the United States.

The NCSL is a bipartisan organization that supports and connects state-level legislators across the United States. At this year’s summit, the Parliamentary Secretary will meet with state legislators from numerous American states and take part in a panel discussion on the importance of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) for American and Canadian jobs.
