Media registration opens for Global Conference for Media Freedom

June 17, 2019 - The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Right Honourable Jeremy Hunt, the United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary, will host the Global Conference for Media Freedom in London on July 10 and 11, 2019. Special Envoy for Media Freedom and human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney will also attend.

The conference will bring together global leaders, shine a spotlight on media repression and build a coalition of governments committed to a stronger diplomatic response when media freedom is curtailed.
