Addressing the issues associated with illicit drug use and prescription drug abuse requires coordinated efforts. The following Government of Canada departments and agencies are working together on an integrated and focused approach to reducing illicit drug abuse, leading to safer and healthier communities:

- Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada
In addition, a large number of key partners, including provincial, territorial, and municipal governments, community groups and non-governmental organizations, are also involved in addressing these issues.
