Asynchronous video interviews for staffing (VidCruiter): Privacy impact assessment

Description of (program/initiative)
Health Canada's (HC) Human Resources Services Division (HRSD) provides staffing services for HC and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
HRSD has contracted VidCruiter, a Canadian company, to conduct pre-recorded video interviews.
Why we completed a privacy impact assessment (PIA)
HRSD's use of VidCruiter is a substantial modification to an existing program activity where personal information is used for an administrative purpose (e.g., interview, candidate rating); this, therefore, initiated the requirement to conduct a PIA.
The PIA examines the privacy-related risks of the VidCruiter video interview and proposes methods to lower these risks.
