Technical Briefing to provide an update on the Government of Canada's latest actions in response to the opioid crisis

September 13, 2017 - Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the F/P/T Special Advisory Committee on the Epidemic of Opioid Overdoses and the Canadian Institute for Health Information will provide an update on the national data of apparent opioid-related deaths as well as data on emergency department visits and hospitalizations related to opioids.
Officials will be available to answer questions from the media following their statements.
