Investment of more than $64 million

Clean Water and Wastewater Fund (CWWF) and New Building Canada Fund, Small Communities Fund

The governments of Canada and Quebec are investing $64,034,272 in 26 water and wastewater projects to ensure residents of the Centre-du-Québec region have access to clean and reliable water sources. Funding for the 25 projects under the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund was made possible by the signing of the bilateral agreement on July 5, 2016.  

The Government of Canada is contributing $38,370,313 and the province is providing $25,663,959. The municipalities will provide the remaining funding.
