Investment of almost $12.6 million
Clean Water and Wastewater Fund
The governments of Canada and Quebec are investing $12,590,107 in three water and wastewater projects to ensure Gaspésie residents have access to clean reliable water sources. Funding for these projects was made possible by the signing of a bilateral agreement on July 5, 2016.
The Government of Canada is contributing $7,584,402, representing 50% of the total eligible costs, and the province is providing $5,005,705. The municipalities will provide the remaining funding.
