Investment of almost $4.5 million

Public Transit Infrastructure Fund

The governments of Canada and Quebec are investing $4,488,300 in 20 projects for the Société de transport de Trois-Rivières to improve commute times, reduce air pollution, strengthen communities and grow the regional economy.

The Government of Canada is contributing $2,493,500, representing 50 percent of the total eligible costs, and the province is providing $1,994,800, representing 40 percent of the total eligible costs. The Société de transport de Trois-Rivières will provide the remaining funding.
