Investments of nearly $10.4 million

Public Transit Infrastructure Fund

The governments of Canada and Quebec are investing $10,396,800 in 19 projects being undertaken by the Société de transport de Trois-Rivières (STTR) to improve commute times, reduce air pollution, strengthen communities and grow the regional economy.

The Government of Canada is contributing $5,776,000, representing 50 per cent of the total eligible costs, and the Province is providing $4,620,800, representing 40 per cent of the total eligible costs. The STTR will provide the remaining funding.
