Backgrounder: Governments of Canada and PEI investing in safer roads for residents and visitors
Backgrounder
Today, the governments of Canada and Prince Edward Island announced joint support for a series of road improvements as part of the 2018 Collector Roads Bundle Project. Work includes improvements along 16 of the province's National Roads and Community Connectors.
The Government of Canada is contributing up to $1,776,304 towards this project, representing 50% of total eligible project costs. The Government of Prince Edward Island will provide the remainder of funding.
