Backgrounder: Residents of the Lower Laurentians to benefit from better flood protection
Backgrounder
The Government of Canada is investing a total of $49,190,800 in three projects in the Lower Laurentians through the Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund to increase communities’ resilience to climate change and protect residents, homes and infrastructure.
The eight municipalities involved in the various projects will provide a total of $24,595,400.
