Media Advisory - Châteauguay (Quebec)

Châteauguay (Quebec), June 3, 2021. - Media representatives are invited to a press conference during which the MP for Châteauguay-Lacolle, Mrs. Brenda Shanahan, and the Minister for Education and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, Ms. Isabelle Charest, will make an announcement concerning recreational and sports infrastructure in the Montérégie region.

For the occasion, they will be accompanied by the Minister of Justice, Minister Responsible for the French Language, Minister Responsible for Laicity and Parliamentary Reform, Minister Responsible for the Montérégie Region, Government House Leader and Member of Parliament for Borduas, Mr. Simon Jolin-Barrette, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Economy and Innovation - Innovation Component - and Member of Parliament for Châteauguay, Ms. MarieChantal Chassé, and the Director General of the Régie Sports et Loisirs Beau-Château, Mrs Joëlle Éthier.

The maximum number of journalists present is set at 20, including cameras. If you represent a media outlet and wish to participate in the event, you must register before June 3 at 8:00 a.m. by writing to relationsmedias@education.gouv.qc.ca, A confirmation of attendance will then be sent to you.

People attending the press conference must not exhibit COVID-19-related symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has been positively diagnosed in the past 14 days. Great importance will be given to respecting the rules of physical distancing and other hygienic measures. Note that wearing a procedure mask is mandatory.
